Personal Creative Work

Barcelona Study Abroad

In June 2024, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona, Spain, with the University of South Carolina College of Information and Communication. My classmates and I were assigned a project to focus on the desserts in Barcelona. We created a video showcasing our research, and it was an amazing opportunity that I learned so much from.

Class Project - Amazon Review Parody

For one of my English classes, we had the assignment of writing a parody of Amazon reviews and then creating a work that showcased us reading or acting our work aloud. I wrote a parody Amazon review featuring a doorstopper, and acted it out as a way to show the emotions behind the piece. It was a fun work to write, and to record as well.

C.S. Lewis Cat Christmas Gingerbread House

For the C.S. Lewis Cats, I have created many posts and reels in order to bring awareness to them. I have also created various forms of physical media, such as a gingerbread house for the holidays.

C.S. Lewis Cat Halloween Hand

For the C.S. Lewis Cats' Halloween, I painted a fake hand to look like Thing from the Addams family in order to have one of the cats pose with it.

Balfour Beatty Social Media Video

During my internship with Balfour Beatty, there was an intern social media contest in which interns were asked to create a video showcasing our summers and the work we did. While my video was sadly not chosen, it was still incredibly fun to make, as I chose to do a rendition of Elle Wood's Harvard admission video.

Class Project: Super Bowl Commercial

One of my classes this past semester focused on the various commercials that played during the Super Bowl and how they had changed over the years. We were also assigned to create a commercial for various centuries of the Super Bowl, and for the 1980s Super Bowl, my idea was a Coca-Cola ad featuring E.T. I created a storyboard, shot list, and commercial idea.
