Writing
Writing and reading have been large parts of my life, as I have been an avid reader since I was a child, and have been a fan of books and the stories that they can tell. During my time at the University of South Carolina, I have had the opportunity to explore various styles of writing, ranging from social media posts and newspaper articles to Creative English Writing assignments. Writing is a passion for me, and something that I hope to continue to pursue and grow in, both personally and professionally.
Social Media Copy
For the C.S. Lewis cats' Instagram account, I have written the copy for the posts, as well as written and responded to students and members of the community. I also had the opportunity to write social media posts for my summer internship and write in Balfour Beatty's brand voice.
Daily Gamecock Articles
I was a writer for the Daily Gamecock, my school's student-run newspaper, for several semesters. I interviewed community members, communicated with my editors, and came up with compelling and interesting bye lines.
